So here is is the scoop...

The Lord has really looked out for us. What I thought was my water breaking, late one night, was really Blood... After calling my midwife we rushed to the hospital for an emergancy C-section. If we didn't hurry in like we did there was a risk that both of us could have bleed to death. They said my placenta was breaking away. After a few tests and a preisthood blessing, skilled doctors got baby out quickly and We are fine and doing well!!!

First Day of Kindergarten

I can't even believe that my baby Ben is old enough to go to kindergarten!

He was so excited and acting so responsible for 2 weeks before school he woke up to his alarm every morning at 7:00! (practice getting up)

The Scariest part for me was the Bus. Sending him was really hard to do, I even followed the bus there. Then on his way home I thought school got out at 11:30 but it got out at 11:18 so The buses were already gone. So I couldn't follow the bus home. So I sat and waited at his stop...And waited and waited..By 5 min late I was a little worried, by 10 min I was pacing, by 15 min late I was calling the bus transportation and the school, by 20 min late I was in tears and worried to death (and bugged the pick up bus for afternoon kindergarten), by 25 min late I was on the phone with the school and transportation again, when the bus arrived with Ben on it. There is a rule that the kindergarteners are not allowed off the bus without a parent there at the stop and a kid about 4-5 stops before had to wait 15 min and still no parent. So that explained it. Plus it was the first day and they say they are normally a little slow as the kids, parents and bus drivers figure out the schedule.

What we have been up to since christmas...

So I am a horrible blogger but I want to be better so I am going to catch you all up to what we have done since Christmas...

Ethan had a Birthday and is 4 years old!

We had Easter, which is always alot of fun to collect eggs and start enjoying the spring weather.

I started teaching preschool for my 2 boys, Ben and Ethan and a little girl from their last preschool, Sydney and her big brother Ethan.

Doug and lizzy Graduated in April and had lots of time to go and play with us. We went to the Zoo and to the planetarium.

We had mother's day and my Birthday!

And we found out we are Pregnant with a BABY GIRL!!! Due Obtober 1st!

Than we finished Preschool and had a cute but windy gradutation!!! Their hats kept blowing off and it made Ethan Sad.

Then we had a few weeks of rain then summer was really started... and we tried to go somewhere or do something out side everyday, either at a park, splash park, or just in the back yard!

We went to Zions National Park for the Earl family Reunion! Which was a huge blast! This was our big group even though we were missing a bunch of Earl family members!

There was alot of fun times which included a few hikes, game playing, Swimming, a playground, and lot of other fun times with family!

Then 4th of July weekend we had Matt's sister Kim in town and all their montana cousins, Michael, James, Tyler, Ashley and William! They had so much fun playing with them and going to the swimming pool!

And then we had a BBQ and Fireworks with everyone it was a really fun weekend!!!

Then to top off the Summer we had my mom's 50th Birthday party, Daniel's, Jarad's and braxton's Birthday Parties!

By that time summer ends and Ben will start kindergarten Aug. 3rd!

Ben and Cameron's birthdays are 2 weeks apart so to simplify we combined their Parties. Cameron wanted Toy Story Party and Ben wanted a Lego party so the combination was perfect...

Sorry for all those that follow my blog..

I have a list of Excuses but I know you mostly want to just hear what we have been up to...

Earl Family Reunion; My Dad has started up his own Earl family Reunion with my siblings and their families. We went up to midway and stayed at a cabin. It was a ton of fun, My parents did a really good job of adapting the activities to everyone of every age.

We had a summer full of parades and family parties!

We went to the coal mine and had some really fun playdates every friday!

and atleast once a week we went to the splash park and 3-6 times a month we'd go to the beach

We also went to the Farm and did alot of outdoor activities!

We also had a lot of family come in town from time to time. Kim's family from montana came down for the 24th marathon and a murder mytery dinner. Maureen came in town for her boys' soccar camp and we got together as a family!

Matt got our family a really good deal for a carnival cruise. Of course it was a last minute deal and vacation. We decided on going Friday and left monday!

So today I go to leave the house and take the boys to preschool

and low and behold there is almost 6 inches of snow out side.

I have decided that God has a sence of humor

and he's playing an April Fools trick on us.

We even decided to make a snowman the first one we made together all Winter!

Surprisingly it was cold enough to have snow and warm enough to not need jackets!

Also I have had a blast putting vinyl up all over my house...

Well it has been a long while since I have blogged, probably the main reason is i recieved the facebook virus and it has taken me this long to get everything re-installed and ready to go.

I guess you can say we've been busy having a BALL

So the first Main big event was Scott and Shanley's wedding! We are so happy to see them married! And we are all excited to have Shanley as an addition to our family!

While Eveyone was in town we went to the Discovery Gateway downtown

where the kids can Fly a Helocopter

Do some rock climbing...

Or some Horse back riding!

We Loved to have Kim in town and can't wait for a few weeks from now when she comes back for the open house and James' Baptism

December Events

So I have decided that I am not a very good Blogger...
So here is all the events for the month...

First we went as a family to Temple Square.
One of my most treasured traditions is going to go and see the lights at temple square.

We also had an Earl Christmas Party with a nativity acted out by the kids and a pinata!

Then we got to meet Shanley!!!
Who Got proposed to by scott on Christmas Day.
He told us in a present that we got to open under the tree!
We are so happy for them, and the boys are excited for a new Aunt!!!

We also had a wonderful, even spiritual Christmas eve with Christmas jammies and a story from Grandma!!

Christmas was wonderful, we had my parents come and open presents first thing in the morning, than we housed hopped to the jaffas to talk with David who was calling from Norway on his mission. Then we hopped to the Earls for dinner and the rest of Christmas Day!

And My Dad came and helped Matt build a storage room!!!
And It's HUGE!! I love it!! I hope eventually I can fill it!!!

The Last event for the month was a New Year Eve Wedding for my cousin Mellissa! I found it kinda odd to have their reception on a holiday (and it might have hurt their guest showings) But the purpose of it being remembered was suceeded. We are happy for you mellissa!!

Dinosaur Museum

We went to the Dinosaur Museum at thanksgiving point
for our thanksgiving fieldtrip for Preschool.
It was alot of fun!
Ben was impressed with the fact that a dinosaurs foot was bigger than him.

I was surprised with the boy's facination with the dino bones.

Plus this museum had a lot of hands on activities like this wooden dino puzzle,
kids dino costumes, plastic toy dinos, computers with games and puzzles,
a huge build a dino, dino rubbings, a water sand area, a huge sand dig and much much more.

Trunk-or-treat

We got to go with Grandma and Grandpa Jaffa this year for a trunk or treat.
It was cold but the kids were CUTE!!!
This year with the exception of Cameron I let the boys pick their own customes.
Ben wanted to be a Witch and I convinced him to be a "BOY WITCH" and we dressed him like harry potter. But he had to have the classic Witch hat!!
Ethan wanted to be a pirate, which I think was partly inspired by Kaleb's Pirate birthday party.
And Poor Cameron ended up with a handie-down custom of Yoda.

Mindi and les know how to through the best parties!
In the past we've had customes parties for Kaleb's Birthday. This year instead of coming dressed up they dressed you once you got here. They had all of these fun activites where the kids could earn different parts of a Pirate custome.

They really did have alot of clever games and activites for us to play.

And the kids were so cute all dressed up.
My favorite was the obstacle course they had set up for the kids. With a pirate ship, walking the plank, ect..

Like always their decorations were alborate and really awesome, they drew pirate things on their family photos on the wall with dry erase markers, they had a pirate flag, treasure chests, lights, and spider webs, ect..
They really know how to throw a Party.

ScareCrow Festival

Grandma and Grandpa Jaffa took us to the SCARECROW FESTIVAL
We really had a fun time!

They had a ton of little carnival type games for the kids.
I was pleasantly surprised to see the talent my kids had at throwing balls and bean bags, especially Ethan he is my little athlete.

They also had the funnest blown up slides and things
for the kids to climb in and jump on.

It was alot of fun for everyone.
Even though alot of the activities were centered around little kids,
Doug and lizzie that came too had a lot of fun.

The kids were so spoiled by Grandma Jaffa,
They got kettle corn, cotton candy, Toys from a fishing pond,
they got to pick out popcorn, eat a nice lunch and
they even bought Ethan his halloween costume.

The biggest highlight for me was all of Cameron's Firsts, horsey ride, Cotton candy, wagon ride, blow up slide, ect...

APPLE FUN

So I have been kinda busy trying to FINALLY get my house decorated. We've lived here for almost 2 years and I finally got Curtains for my kitchen done. These curtains were probably one of the biggest projects I have or will ever do with my CRICUT.
I am so proud of them. They turned out so good! Better than I even imagined.

I also got these other cute kitchen decorations. They only thing I need now to complete my kitchen is a little kitchen carpet for my sink.

Ben Birthday

Ben's Birthday was no day at the Beach..Wait!...yes it was...
A FUN DAY AT THE BEACH!

For Ben's Birthday he really wanted the

I also made DORA, DIEGO and JAGUAR Cupcakes for his kid party

We gave Ben an ELMO potty book to help promote more potty time activities. For turning 4 he is so ALMOST there of being completely potty trained.

He had a really fun party with lots of family near by.

Ben Also got there really cute woody and Buzz Pj's and of course he shared with ETHAN!
Arn't they just so cute!

There are moments when I still don't believe how big my baby is... Ben was my first baby and it is weird to think he is now 4 years old.

This pic has an interesting story. So I was up in the middle of the night for the last couple nights before this photo and i decided that I would nap while the baby was napping. I put Ben and Ethan in the front room with the tv on and some activites and next I know it I was wakened up with the noise of my kids playing happily from the other room and I realized it was actually Cameron's room I could hear the noise in and I opened the door to see this... ALL 3 boys in the crib playing happily!!! Some how Ben and Ethan climbed in!!

LEGOLAND

I have been meaning to write about these events as they happened

but more and more events kept happening... and keeping me busy.

So before out next event happens next week (LEGOLAND)
I thought I should catch up.

We gave the boys hair cuts at cookie cutters.
We normally wouldn't spend so much
but we had coupons that made it just as cheap as
Great Clips closest to our house.

Then Sunday during church, right after the sacrament, Ben slipped on some goldfish cracker crumbs and bit through his lip. There was a lot of blood and it required 3 stitches. As a Mom I totally thought I could handle watching him get stitches, until I got light headed...and had to sit down. It healed quickly and you can't even see a scar any more.
Then we Celebrated Celeste's Birthday, it was a fun little party.

Then we made Banana Bread...
It started with just me then it became a whole big ordeal,
once they saw me put on my apron..
They wanted theirs on too!!!

Then we had Doug's and Lizzies Wedding at the Draper Temple.
It was a perfect day (besides some rain)
The Ceremony was wonderful, the reception gorgeous,
and the time with family just heaven sent!!!

Then Just last night we celebrated Camerons and Brian's Birthdays! Cameron just turned 1 and Brian turned 24! It was a special combined party.

Cameron is Walking!!!

Cameron is now walking, He started walking with the walker back in June and by middle of July we was walking Full on...

We went to the Parade in Herriman.

Which was a first for Ethan and Cameron and Ben was too young to remember.

They Loved getting the candy so much that we hit another parade the next weekend 4th of July. Which they were able to see Uncle Brian who performed with the Salt Lake Community Collage Marching Band!!

We also got to go to Matt's Summer Social for work. It was alot of fun with a bounce place, Balloon Animals. (a Pink Poodle and a Big Yellow BANANA)

They had face painting, bubbles, color books, balls and dinner!

The Boys also got a taste of two sets of fireworks. Herriman days and 4th of July. fireworks no longer have any excitement to me, so now I get to enjoy it through my kids!

We Aslo celebrated 2 Birthdays! My moms and Brother Daniel!

My boys and I also have been just having fun at home doing everyday things. Like gardening, vacuuming, playing on the swing set ect...

Bear Lake, camping and our little HERO!

We just spent last week at Bear Lake! It was alot of fun!

They had mini-golf, 2 swimming pools, the beach and a wonderful playground, where we spent most of our time.

Then on colder days we went to a pioneer museum,

and did some arts and crafts in the craft hut!

Then on Thursday night we had the pleasure of going out to dinner at Bear Lake Pizza,

where the kids got to ride some little quater rides.

Afterwards we got the pleasure of watching a play at the PickleVille playhouse,

Called "Annie get your gun". It was probably the highlight of my week.

On the first time, we went swimming Ben made himself a HERO!!

Little William about 2 years old had fallen into the pool, While non of the adults were watching and Ben was good enough to YELL.... "MOM, He fell in"

We were very lucky that he saw him and yelled, we have no idea really how long he was in there but we assumed not too long because he was still toward the surface and was kicking and flaring his arms. Matt ran in and grabbed him out.

The ending of that crazy fun week was our ward camping trip! It was the first time they ever slept in a tent and sleeping bags! It rained over night and in the morning which made it kinda miserable but the boys didn't even seem fazed, They had a blast!

We've had the weirdest 2 weeks. It started with Ben having a stomic bug and strep throat...

Then Matt ended up with hives and strep throat,

and then cameron had high fevers and strep too...

Meanwhile Ethan still remained happy and healthy... then once the weekend hit, Ethan and I finally started showing symtoms of fevers and strep also. By monday Ethan than moved from strep to joining Ben with a second batch of the stomic bug.

By Tuesday the kids woke up wanting to play and be normal. They tried so hard to have a normal day but by afternoon all the kids had crashed for long 3 hour naps..Yeah for me!!!

Then by Friday, we went to Kearn High School Graduation, to see my brother Daniel graduate from highschool! (Congrates)

It was a crazy 2 weeks and just this weekend Cameron surprised me..He learned to Crawl so now he is everywhere and into everything.

He is becoming such a big boy... Hates everything baby and loves everything big boy..Especially BIG COOKIES!!!

April Activities

Welcome good weather and summer clothes...
(for only a few days atleast).
So we played outside quit a bit, playing at the park, at neighbors houses and on our . . . . .

New Swing Set!!!

p.s. Thanks Matt and Dad for spending 8 hours putting it together!

Then we had a Birthday Party next door for Logan! It was a Animal themed party. They hired this guy that has the most unique pets. Snakes, Spiders, bugs, birds, rabbits, lizards ect.. he even has traditional pets like cats and dogs. Anyways he brings his most exotic animals and the kids can touch them and hold them and learn all about them. It was a whole lot of fun!!!

Then I guess the next highlight for April was Easter!!!

We decorated Eggs with Grandma Earl, they had an easter egg hunt in the backyard and

they loved the toys they got in their baskets.

They also got another egg hunt at grandma Jaffas!

After Easter we had a focus of weeding the yard. The previous owners put in some curbing all around the house and in the corner and last summer I didn't do anywork in it so this year it is a real chore. So the boys has been using their shovels and things to help me.

And with that I am also pulling out my old garden and putting in a new vegetable garden.

This is my largest carrot that grew last year!

Last year, I just had a baby, so I never pulled out any of my vegetables,

(mainly because i didn't think anything grew)

and surprise there was alot of carrots that survived!

What we've been doing since I last blogged

So we've been doing quite a few things lately and staying really busy. . .

The first thing was a visit to the jaffas, where Grandma Jaffa gave Granpa Jaffa a Giant Teddy bear named Pookie bear. (which was bigger than all 3 boys)

The second thing was Ethan's surgery,

Ethan had to have a corrective circumcision. Which was an all day long process. I know the lord answers even the insignificate prayers because i was praying that this whole day would go smoothly and it went WAY BETTER than I thought. First thing was Ethan could not eat anything after midnight and then he couldn't drink anything after 10:15 and If any of you know Ethan this is a VERY hard task for him. And that morning He NEVER even asked for anything to eat or drink. Then the second thing was his surgery kept being push back almost 3 hours later than planned and Ethan was a REALLY good sport he never complained, he played toys and just enjoyed his one-on-one time from mommy. The third thing I was most worried about was my nursing baby that was BARELY on baby food was left with Matt for the day so I could be with Ethan. Which I really wanted Matt with me. But even that worked out because the surgery was delayed Matt was able to leave Ben and the baby with his parents to be there with me. And the last thing that Make me know God answers prayers is how the baby DIDN'T CRY ONCE. He ate food, played toys and took a nap without even a peep.

One of the things the boys benefitted most, out of the time with daddy, during Ethan's surgery was the two computer game daddy bought for the boys. Which the boys have played non-stop since. It is awesome to see both boys know their numbers, alphabets, and colors. I am also amazed at how well both boys have learned how to use the mouse and the keyboard. Ben can actually completely manuver and play what ever he wants on the computer from the sign in screen.

The last is this nice weather and horrible weather we've had... like a joke we have 3-4 days of really warm weather where we went out side and rode bikes and played and then we had days of Snow storms. Well today was good day and we put on HATS it was really fun to dress the boys all up and they really enjoyed wearing their hats.

We went to the Draper Temple open house.It was alot of fun!!! We went with one of my best friends and her family she has two kids my kids age (Ben and Cameron).

My favorite part was to watch Ben pull out the pamphlet,

and as we walked into each room on the pamphlet

he would say "check" and do a pretend check mark, to mark off the fact that we saw that room.

The next set of pictures is my attempt to play with hair gel!

I was doing my fly lady cleaning and I was organizing my bathroom

and found this hair sculpting stuff I havn't used in like forever

so I gave the boys Hair-Dos

Happy 50th Lloyd and Boyd!

My Dad and his twin turned the big 50!!!

It was a blast with gag gifts, games, family. food and fun!!!

The last thing occupying my life is food training the baby. We are making sure he'll take bottles and he just started baby food. Matt and I are attempting a valentines date and we need him to be easily feed and taken care of.

Happy 2nd Birthday Ethan!

It is hard to believe when your babies grow up!!! Ethan turned two today and had a wonderful birthday party with all his family!

We gave him the choice of what cake he wanted he wanted SHREIK!!

I think the biggest hit for the evening was the 2 bikes Ethan got. Grandma Jaffa bought the big one and afterwards worried that it might be to big so she bought a smaller tricicle.

TWO BIKES!!! What an awesome Grandma!!

As a New Years resolution I decided I would get control of my house and get it clean.

I started this 31 Step program from the "Fly Lady" http://www.flylady.net/
I personally decided to take it one step at a time instead of one step a day.
So when I feel I have a grasp on the current steps I will add more.

Well the last step I am trying to master is a "15 min declutter"
You set a timmer and pick a messy area and only spend 15 min and walk away.

The Fly Lady suggests putting two of these declutter times into your daily routine at first until your house is no longer cluttery. So for about the last 5 days I have spent my two times a day 15 min declutter and this is what you get....

Now mind you this is our playroom and it takes the boys about 30 sec to mess it up again!

But I felt so proud to have it organized I had to take a picture!!!

Mr. Smartie Pants

Ethan does the cutest things sometimes. Lately he has done a few things that have really made me laugh and caught my attention to really how smart he is and how he perceives this world.

The first thing Ethan did that made me laugh my socks off, was when Ethan sat down next to me, while I was nursing cameron,and he had his baby doll in his hand and he preceeded to lift up his shirt and put the babies head under it. I asked him what he was doing and he said "shhh baby is eating"

Then a couple of days later (again while I was nursing) I hear a scream coming from my bathroom and I hurry in to find a Naked Ethan with arms and legs flying. Ethan said "Potty mommy"... He had taken off his zipper pj's and diaper and climbed onto a box and tried to go potty all by himself. It took all of my self control not to laugh at him as I helped him (my almost 2 years old) out of the potty he had fallen into.

Ethan is my very independent boy and he now has learned the tecnique of opening doors. So everywhere we go in the house he feels like he needs to open the door and close it for me. So the other day I was trying to put away my "Put away box" from my fly lady plan (I'll explain later) and it took me almost 30 min to put away 15 items or so because I had to wait for Ethan to open and shut the door for me everytime I entered or exited a room. If I insisted on opening a door I had to spend double the time trying to calm him down from a fit.

Ethan is less than 2 weeks away from turning two and I already suffer from "Terrible Twos." I think what makes "Terrible Twos" so Hard is they don't have the communication skills to tell you what they want, but they are smart enough to know how to get your attention. WISH ME LUCK!!!

Pre-Christmas events

I tried to get these events posted before Christmas
but the craziness took over faster than I thought.

Bills' girls night out. I wasn't sure what to title this party, since no one there at the party are bills; the host was a jaffa, her sister is a Gee, the other sister is a Wipple, another sister is a Istook and all their daughters have different last names too. But since the original sisters were Bills before they got married, it became the "Bills Girls" night out. This event is going to be a monthly event that I am totally looking forward already, because of how much fun the first get together was.

The next events were the same night, We dropped off the boys at the Jaffas so we could go to Matt's work party and they took the boys to their ward christmas party. Where they did a "Feliz Navidad" theme party with taco dinner and a pinata. And the boy's favorite Santa Clause!

Matt work party was really nice. They had buffet style dinner and dancing. Matt bought me this new dress (which I just love) for the event.
It was really alot of fun! Matt's co-workers seem to be a lot of fun!

Our ward did a Christmas in Nauvoo theme, It was really kinda fun and they had a great spiritual presentation at the end. (Sorry no pictures of that event0

The next event was a Joyschool nativity and Christmas party. We performed the nativity story, with props and costumes. It was really cute, (I am still trying to find out how to put video on my blog so if you know how teach me).
Then after that we made graham cracker gingerbread houses.

Then the last event was celebrating Matt's Birthday! We went out to eat with his family, then the next day we had dinner with my family. The boys helped decorate the cake. Matt had a really good bithday, after his two parties I also took him out to dinner and bowling on the WII. Ben and Ethan got to sleep over at the Earls! The next day we went to watch Twilight (my second time, Matt's first) which matt loved so much we saw it again last night.

Matt's work had a little trick-or-treating party. It was alot of fun and we are all thankful that they did it because the boys got plenty of candy and they didn't have to walk very far or in the rain. Like we did later that night around the neighborhood, or should I say just in the circle up the street. We only hit the one circle because they had one house that gave away hotdogs and next door was a house that did a haunted house in their garage.

Anyways Halloween was really fun!

Last night for family home evening we carved a pumkin for halloween.

Ben and Ethan were really funny about it they wouldn't touch the seeds.

Ben said "it's a yucky pun' kin"

So neither boys would touch it. (Even though I did get both to put their hand in the pumpkin.)

Well in order to make Ben happy about the fact that we were going to cut and "ruin" the pumpkin we had to cut the face using alphabet letters.

So the eyes were C's and nose a U and the mouth a W.

Farewell Grandma

I just heard about an hour ago that my grandma has past away. Any death of family is hard and sad but most of us are happy and relieved. She has been in theropy recovering from surgery and her health was just failing. Elaine Richards Earl will be missed. I loved my grandma very much.
Some of my most favorite memories are the weekly visits to her house. Everyone that lived in the valley came over every Sunday and played games and talked. She was always the first and last person I said hi and bye too.

My mother told me that when I was a baby I was attatched to grandma and I would always go to her. This made my Grandma feel especially special since alot of the other grandchildren went to grandpa.

Grandma was one of the most ontime, organized and planned individual. She was also the most loving and encouraging person I knew.

One thing I am amazed about is her strength at the end of her life. Her husband, My grandpa is considered legally blind and deaf, and he has become very scenile. While grandma was in surgery my parents and Aunts and uncles took turns taking care of him... and they eventually couldn't handle it and hired help. This job was my grandma's individually. This proves really how much my grandma was putting up with for years.

Grandma Earl, We will all miss you and we know that your in a better place. I thank God that knowledge that I have. That she is in Heaven and no longer suffering.

One of mother's worse nightmares

So I was getting my kids ready for the day and realized I only had one of Ethan's shoes and I figured he must of kicked one off in the car yesterday so I went outside to look for the missing shoe. As I returned to the house with the shoe, I was horrified to find out that Benjamin has locked me out of the house. I soon got fustrated and out-of-control as I Ben kept saying he couldn't unlock the door and he wanted me to do it. I kept trying to explain that mom didn't have the keys and HE HAD TO OPEN THE DOOR!!! I kept yelling comands through the window, telling them to let me in. After many attempts of a locked top lock with an unlocked bottom lock and Vice verca. I even opened the garage trying to get in, but the door was lock there too. My next thought was to break the front window to get in, or call matt to come home. Just then my neighbor arrived home, I ran to her asking her to help me keep control and explain to Ben how to let me in the house because I was locked out. Thank goodness for her, She stayed calm and objective and came up with the idea that Ben could just unlock the back sliding glass door better. So sure enough, after being locked out almost 20 min, with 3 kids locked in (all of them crying) I was in the house and relieved!

One of those days turned GREAT!

Somedays as a Mom of Three kids, ages 3 and under, I feel like pulling my hair out (Or their hair). And today started out like that, Cameron woke me up at 5:30 for a feeding and decided to stay wake for a while I finally got him to sleep about 6:15 and as I set him down so I can try to go back to sleep; I heard Ethan wake up and start crying, which woke up Ben since they share a room. Both boys were cranky all morning, crying and fighting over everything. Then we planned to go to the Zoo and getting ready went slower and seemed more fustrating to accomplish. Then the zoo got canceled because of bad weather, Which was kinda hard to console your kids once they are excited. I'm not sure if the fustration was just my mood since I didn't get to go back to sleep or if the boys were also cranky because they were up slightly earlier than normal. Anyways things didn't turn out like I would have liked this morning and the kids were getting into all kinds of mischeif while I was holding and nursing Cameron. Ethan started crying tons and refused to be happy unless I held him. Which lead to Ethan falling asleep in one arm while Cameron nursed and fell asleep on the other arm.
Don't ask me how I got this picture I'm not sure I could explain the manovering I had to do inorder to set down Cameron, grab the camera and take a picture without waking up Ethan. Anyways after nap time, we were all happier and I had one of those overwhelming moments of gratitude and love for my children! I was touched and my eyes started to water. I was able to get another picture that just melt my heart as both Ben and Ethan climbed on to the couch to kiss their brother.

First Day of Preschool

We are really excited, today is Ben's first day of preschool.
We started a little mommy-taught preschool group, where we switch homes and who teaches.
It will be a mix of joyschool values taught and alphabets, colors and numbers.
This preschool group will be really good for Ben to have a chance to socialize!
I also hope he will learn to be for well rounded and not so upsest with ABC's
(not that there is anything wrong with ABC"S)

Potty Time

So we have started potty training Ben. We started monday afternoon and have had nothing but Wet diapers. (Jill sounds like our kids are in the exact same boat). We had one successfull poop yesterday and a very successful day today. This morning Ben pee-ed in the potty and then had an accident while all his friends were here and then since 2:00 this afternoon he went three times with no accidents yet... It is 9:00 at night so 7 hours without an accident... who knows how long it will last. But we are so proud of his progress!!

Any parent that has made the same mistake we did understand the concept that young children don't understand the words "later", "not now", "next week" and "soon". We told Ben about 3 weeks before his birthday, that his birthday was coming and every day he thought it was his birthday, then we would try to explain using those few words above... but it finally came.

Those that know Ben know all about his ALPHABET obsession so we had a ABC Birthday for him! Starting with his cake, we put "Happy Birthday" letters on and then I let the boys go crazy and cover the rest of the cake with ABC's! He loved it!!!

Then of course his presents we all ABC related or Clothes!

Ben can write his letters

So the story goes like this...

I was nursing Cameron downstairs with Ben playing near by in the room (Ethan was asleep). Ben had gone upstairs and I yelled after him saying that he needed to come here where I can see him. So he obeyed and sat at the top of the stairs right in my vision. He was playing with something and singing but I couldn't tell exactly what he was doing up there. I figured he was playing with ABC's since he was singing the ABC Song.

And in a way I was correct...

Ben had practiced his E's and F's on the fridge

and his T's on the door and his name on the floor.

At first I was so fuming mad, I put him in timeout and I started to clean it up. Until I realized that this was one of those moments that I should capture and cherish . . . Ben loves writing letters and he's not even 3 yet. I should be proud of his "ART". So I pulled him out of time out and explained Where it was ok to color and where it is not ok, Then I made him clean it up.

Cameron Tyler Jaffa was born Aug. 22nd (two days over due) at 8:05 a.m.

He was 8lbs. 110z. and 20 inches long!

We are so exctied to have Cameron here!

After a few false alarms and shattered hopes,

becuase of brazton hick contractions, he finally arrived.

Then Just yesterday, He started breathing really quickly his Respitory Rate was over 90 and it was supposed to be under 60. So after alot of tests (which all showed normal results) They figured he probably had a small infection in his lungs from aspirating some fluid. So I got discharged today and am sleeping at home with my other boys tonight . . . Hoping and praying he gets to come home tomarrow!!!!

Our Road Trip to NAUVOO

Our Trip to Nauvoo started with a 5 day rest and drive session. We drove about 500 miles sat. Then we rested Sunday and went to church with my cousin Jimmy. Monday, we went to the Denver children's museum and drove another 500 miles to Omaha. The boys loved the Musuem, it had a fire truck, a shopping area, a mini basket ball area, a tree house and wild animal exhibit, an art area and Ben's favorite an ABC wall!!!

Then Tuesday, we saw Omaha "Winter Quarters" and traveled 200 miles to Independence.

Then in Independence we saw Liberty Jail and headed to Nauvoo.

In Nauvoo we met up with the Whole EARL Clan. And had three days of Nauvoo shows and entertainment! They Boys loved the fact that they got to wake up everyday and see their Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and cousins!

As Fun as the trip was it wasn't always a fun and easy thing to drive cross country to two toddlers and a 8 month pregnant wife! Plus by the end the boys had just had enough Adventure.

I feel bad that I am on a month to month basis of undateing this blog...My excuse this time is I have a anit-virus Virus on my computer that has made it impossible to update this..so I am currently on my sister's computer... We bought the boys these fun tents to play with....
And we've spent many of hours riding our bikes up and down the street...

Grandma Jaffa also banked at a yard sale and got the kids some new toys for her house and this fun Jeep...which Ben can actually drive (but can't stop)
And the last big event in June is that Uncle Doug came home from his mission to Germany. We are so glad he is home and had a good mission.

We've had a lot of things happen this last month... Starting with memorial day and my birthday!! we had my parents and family over for cake and ice cream and to play a few games!!!

Then we had Kims family come into town for David's mission farewell and MTC! David is going to Norway!!! My boys will really miss their Uncle David while he is gone!! But we are proud of him.
We Also had a lot of fun together as a family while Kim was in town.. I don't think my kids had any idea what to do with so many cousins!!!

Then we had a really fun playdate at the farm. The boys loved looking at the animals. Especailly the Ducks (which are very human freindly) who we fed bread. They also loved the wagon ride, sitting on the saddle, and playing in the tree house.

So Once a day or so we try to put Ben on the potty chair so we can get him excited or used to his new potty chair and Last night for the First time it was urinated in..... But not but the child you would think... We put Ben on it first and like normal he sat there for a while then he got up and played. Then Ethan start to back up to sit on it...So I let him try and sure enough in a matter of seconds Ethan went into the potty chair.

We just moved!!! We are now living in Herriman, our house is a 6 bedroom and 3 bathroom house.

I can't even believe it!!! Ethan just turned 8 months and he is EVERYWHERE!!! He loved to hold onto the couch, toys, MY LEGS and he walks along everything. As "Survineers" from Park City for the boys we bought matching Jammies (two pairs) and two little matching outfits... I am sure there are more pictures to come because they are so cute. The first "Earl Family Reunion" has just begun!!! Check in time was 4:00 Saturday so first thing after unpacking was a trip to the pool!!! The water was really nice and warm, so the kids absolutly loved it!!!

By the Second Day, Sunday we didn't have anything in particular planned (except church) so the kids had the opportunity to wander and play at the park!!! They loved the tire swing!!!

Celeste Rachael Litnak was born Aug 3rd at 8:49 p.m. at the Lds Hospital by c-section. She is 10lbs 4 oz. and 22 inches long! WHAT A BIG BABY!!! Anyways she is really cute and we are so excited to have her in the family. Charity (the older sister) really loved the baby but I don't think it has sunk in that the baby will be home when she gets home.

Ethan has been sitting up in a boppy since about 3 months old and now he can sit up all on his own!!! I think it's great except that Ben is finding him more of an equal now that he sits that he really isn't very careful with him. Otherwise it's great fun to have Ethan sitting and playing with Ben!!!

It is like I blinked and Ethan has grown up... He is no longer my little baby!! He had his 4 month appointment this week and he weighs...16 Lbs. 8 Oz. He is 23 inches long. That puts him in the 85th percentile in weigh. He is in size 3 diapers and size 6-9 months clothes!

He has also started Teething..Hence the drool.....
And Eating Rice Cereal!!
And he can sit up enough to play in the exersaucer.

He can also roll over from side to side and from front to back.

He is growing so fast!!!

Again we went to the Zoo with our Hogle Zoo Membership!! This time we brought Grandma Earl, Aunt Lauie, Brian, Rachael, Colby and Charity!! It was alot of fun!!! Ben is really learning his animals and their sounds. Laurie had mentioned that every time she's ever gone to the zoo she (no fail) always see's a pair of animals "doing it". We lucky her this time she broke her record no mating animals this time.

Swim Party at our house

Ben is a part of a really fun PlayGroup!!! We have 6 Moms and 9 kids and soon to be 11 kids by December!!! We try to go on "feildtrips" everyother friday and someone's house and sometimes lunch the other Fridays! This Friday was my turn at my house and we had 3 blown up pools it was a blast.

Trip to Montana

A 9 hour drive with 2 babies...

turned into an 11 hour trip and an exciting road block of buffalo!

We were headed there over memorial weekend and for my birthday. . .

but there was a better reason for the trip.... Michael Le Fevre was baptised on saturday.

It was really nice and great fun to see and be with family.

Trips to the ZOO

We got a membership to the Zoo last month and are only one visit away from getting our money's worth! It's been really fun so far!! Ben loves the animals, we figured out that he'll only point once he sees the animal. So as you can tell in this picture that Ben was trying to tell me that he sees the elephant! This time we went with Matt but we have been 3 other times with our playdate group! Ben has learned how to do more animal sounds and signs. For example he signs penguin, and alligator; and he goes Eee Eee Eee like a monkey and growls like a bear.

13 Lbs

Ethan is Growing too fast. As you can see in the picture his little outfit (0-3) no longer fits and he's into the next size (3-6). At his 2 month appointment he weighed 13lbs. I am amazed and a little sad, My little baby didn't stay little for very long. Ethan is such a good eater; Ben never was and isn't a very good eater, so I am caught a little off guard by Ethan's appatite.

We have gone on stroller rides, played at the park, we did a picnic, went to a friends house in Eagle mountain, went to Jungle Gyms, to cuddle time at the library, Cabellos camping store, DinoLand in the Mall and just played almost everyday. He had tons of Fun but I think we "Tuckered" him out.

Sadly he's not the only one tuckered out. . . He has completely tired me out too. Ben has just entered his TERRIBLE TWO"S. He's such a little mischief... For example...

This Morning I accidently fell asleep nursing Ethan on the bed, Ben was completely trapped in the room with me during this time period. Suddenly I was wakened by Ben climbing on the bed and handing me 6B tile from our acquire game. At first I thought to my self,what could he have done in 20 min time, he must have just dumped the box. I sat up and looked around the room and there was a lake of things covering the whole floor. He had dumped our aquire game (with playmoney, 108 tiles, 150 stock cards and 6 company peices), Ticket to Ride (45 trains of 5 colors, 86 color cards, and tons of destination cards) and a whole drawer of Stamps. My first reaction was to scream- which luckly I didn't do. I just started sorting and counting making sure all the pieces were in my favorite games. Ben didn't make it easy either, he kept trying to play with the pieces and dump the box agian. so I locked him in his room while I started scavengering for the pieces, they were under the bed, behind the bed, behind the nightstand, in the laundry basket, in my scrapbooking drawers ect... Good news I did find every piece and found it something to laugh about as I told Matt and my sister about it.

Ethan's Baby blessing

Ethan's Baby blessing went very well. We were sourrounded by famiy and loved ones! Matt gave Ethan a very beautiful Blessing! Surprisingly everything went well, we had plenty of food, Barely enough space, and we all had a good time! (P.s. It was a Birthday Celebration for Papa Jaffa too, We had a huge yummy Chocolate Birthday cake {Happy Birthday Brent!!!}) Ben Even had a blast having his Aunt, and uncles and both sets of Grandparents all in the same room. He went from lap to lap and was eating off of eveyone's plates!!! Sadly by the end of the event he was tuckered out!!! He missed nap time completly and was a tired little guy. (as you can see in the picture below)

A New Van!!!

Matt and I decided it was time for a second vehicle, so I wasn't stranded at home everyday. After our trip to St. George last summer (In a Crammed car). We decided it was time for a bigger Car. . . And Low and behold we have this New Van. It is a Used 2006 Toyota Sienna, With every luxury EXCEPT navigation system , leather, and sun roof. We love it! It has great options and will be wonderful for traveling in!

Who is the Baby? and Who is the big Boy?

Benjamin Thinks he is the Baby... He love to sit in Ethan's baby car seat, the baby bouncer, the Swing (as you see below), and the bassinet (aslo shown below). I Think this is his way of trying to get attention. He's a little jeolous of the attention the baby gets.

Trip to the Mall

Yesterday we went to the Mall to get Ethan's Baby pictures taken. Matt told Ben that if he was good he could ride the Merry-go-round. At first Ben seemed really worried as it started to move... Then he started laughing, he loved it!! It was kinda fun to get pictures and eating at the mall it was a fun little Family night out!
